When you create a RampCount account we store your email address and the display name you choose. When you submit an availability report we store the ramp, the number of trailer spaces you reported, the status and the time.
RampCount asks for your device location for two reasons: to sort ramps by distance, and to confirm you are within 1,000 feet of a ramp before you report it. Your coordinates are checked on your own device and are never stored on our servers.
Availability reports are shown to other boaters without any identifying information — only the space count, status and how long ago it was reported. Your email address and name are never shown to other users.
We email you to verify your address, reset your password, and for account security. We do not sell your email address or send marketing on behalf of third parties.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, favorites, alerts and reports.
